Decorating Your Teens Bedroom By Lee Dobbins
When your child is to be a young person, that few children of furniture and decorative bedroom just will not do. Your teen wants a cool new look, and here's how you can get.
First, do not throw your old bedroom furniture that yet. Unless the furniture is totally broken and banged, May you be able to give it a new look with fresh paint and new buttons. Before you embark on this point, however, you need to understand the theme of your teen room design.
Today's hot new looks are centered around retro, modern and cool designs. Teenagers have in fact very good sense of design (no doubt to watch much TV!) And you can design a room really well simply by adding new accents. Of course, your teen May need a new office for their work at home, if the former does not work anymore, but you can give old furniture a new look, as indicated above.
Fortunately, you do not have to spend a lot of emphasis on youth in your room. Most discount stores like Target offer hip furnishings and accents at discount prices. You can buy inexpensive shelves, or build yourself, and use them to put all the things that might normally be thrown on the floor. This will look at the room clean and to reduce congestion.
You can give your bedroom, teenagers, but a celebration sophisticated look by painting the room in a cool color like chocolate, sage or purple and the use of accents as focal points. A cloth or a flokati rug to give a sophisticated air and you can even put the carpet as over a wall to wall carpeting to give the floor a whole new look. Replace children or theme ruffled curtains with tab topped curtains denim or canvas for a more adult look.
Literie to adolescence may be simple or funky - that everything in the room. Depending on your taste of children, a whole bed of neutral color with the texture of fabrics, such as property or a silk velvet duvet can add interest without being too flashy. Or if you want to make the bed a focal point, how to print on an animal or something in bright colors like hot pink and orange?
Accents are where you add interest and give the room personality. Some fun accents chairs shaped shoe giant, fake fur covered wildfires color bag of beans of all types of chairs, telephones in all shapes and sizes, funky accent pillows, rugs and art.
