Vincent van Gogh's Bedroom at Arles, painted in 1889 by: Elizabeth Harding

In the room of Vincent

"In a word, looking the picture should remain the brain, or rather the imagination."

Vincent van Gogh of the House in Arles, painted in 1889, was intended to be the symbol of peace based. A glance at this table, bursting with energy and filled with sights, gives the viewer just the opposite sensation.

The room, pleasant but rolls with all the movement. Whether consciously or not, van Gogh painted prospects, walls and decorations all atilt, so we have the impression of a ship cabin in a stormy Wednesday. Curiously, the two presidents face to both the bed in solid wood, furniture and doors lilac two blocks. Paintings on the wall jut into the room as if almost ready to fall, and the walls themselves are not square. The beveled ceiling and yellow are two parts whacked off without mercy in the culture of the canvas, and the whole room seems crowded clumsy in an area towards the rear window. Yet somehow, all is a certain fact quite pleasant.

Before leaving Paris in 1888 to live in the south of France in Arles, Vincent has met most of what is now regarded as the famous Impressionist artists of that period. Motion and excited about their work and ideas, he developed the dream of creating a common artists he called "Studio of the South." The now famous Yellow House in Arles became the focal point of his dream. He prepared the yellow house for guests, still life painting and decorating with the intensity reflected in his works.

The artist who became his greatest influence, closest friend and possibly his downfall, Paul Gauguin, was the first and only member of the "Studio of the South." His visit with Van Gogh was fraught with tension and he left after just over two months. The two artists disagreed to the point of violent arguments on almost all subjects, but especially on the painting. During one such argument at the end of the stay of Gauguin, Vincent, mentally unstable epilepsy, heard a voice in his ear, saying: "Kill him." Rather than obey, he cut more than delinquency ear. It was the outcome of an incident that has placed all time in the ranks of major, which have not been able to cope with life, but the world with talented chef-d ' work after masterpiece.

Undoubtedly, the Board of Vincent is not really the way he portrayed it. Yet in a letter to his brother Theo, his description of this image does not intentionally transmit recognition of upheaval. Rather, it is hard to talk about its ambience, a symbol of relaxation and peace. The inescapable conclusion is that he, Vincent, who need peace ... and he who has never found.

In short, it offers you, the owner of the design to the object. For a child's room determined this design is particularly important.

Feng Shui allows parents a guide to decorate your rooms of children, and perhaps more importantly, a result of adding certain elements - something standard decorating practices do not always offer. What does this mean exactly? Well, when it comes to a child's bedroom, Feng Shui, just wants to correct the alignment bed, bedroom good choice, essential decorating and design elements, that is to ie, do's and don'ts (not vicious animals, etc.). For a child's room, even how to influence children to be studious and behaves well - all things that most parents would like to know.

The purpose of Feng Shui in a kid's room is the same as all parents in order to decorate their rooms of the child: to create a healthy, happy environment that promotes education, good health, happy relationships with parents and siblings, and respect for parents. Children and parents can enjoy success and healthy relationships if the environment supports them.

Naturally, children must feel safe, secure, and cared for the development. By placing the interest and efforts of your child in the room, you show your child that you believe that the child of space, so your child is important. The advice presented here are some basic principles of feng shui for children.

1.Place a good image of parents in the bedrooms of children.
This subtle exercise the authority and role of parents as heads of household. It is also one of the fastest and most effective ways to bring a child online.

2.Align the child reads the widest part of the room.
Make sure your child can see the door of her bed easily, but not in direct line of the door. Your child should also not share a wall with a toilet or a bathroom toilet or bed, as this can cause health problems.

Bunk beds are not informed. If possible, try to have a separate bedroom for each child. If not, there are many ways of decorating to create division and privacy in a room.

3.Create an area of study and achievements.
Having a dedicated space, including a desk and lamp where your child can study shows your child the importance you place on your child's education and educational achievement. If this has been a source of problems, to study position in the northeast corner of the room. Also make a place on a southern wall, if possible, your child's achievements. Strengthens do you proud of your child's efforts. Display drawings, crafts, awards, trophies, ribbons or other special items, such as tests with good grades or letters from teachers. Here the points which gave special recognition.

4.Make the child in the room a healthy place. Water photos, aquariums, or sounds of water that can be heard in the room can create an unhealthy environment May and even lead to respiratory diseases. This is particularly important if the child has health problems, including asthma.

5.Clear space for your child and can still be creative.
Jammed drawers and cabinets, beds with boxes, shoes and other items below must be cleaned. Creation of the visual space and openness helps your child feel less pressure and more likely to be imaginative and creative. More is certainly not "more" when it comes to children. Give them a visual rest and clear all the things they have not played in a month or more.

6.Use light, color, and works of art in the room to make a good environment.
A child's room should stimulate, not shock, the child mind. Make sure the lighting is adequate for the office, for a bedside table, and that the windows can be closed for privacy.

Rooms are painted blue (unless it is a bright light or shadow color) or other dark colors can be depressing and create too much energy oppression. Bright colors such as yellow, light green, purple and Pinks are good choices, with yellow is the optimal choice.

Watch your child sees the images being to eliminate some of the images of ferocious or dangerous animals or violence. These symbols are poor for a child to feel safe in the bedroom. Select items from the room and intrigue that inspires a child to learn and promote their sense of security.

7.Position bedroom or in the proper places.
If possible, boys should be placed at the east or north bedrooms and girls should be placed in the south or southwest or bedrooms.
